This announcement is really to inquire if there is interest in this retreat. This retreat would focus on the use of color in knitting and its impact on energy. You will have an opportunity to learn to paint yarn in colors you select. We will dye the yarn by either steaming or using the microwave. We will discuss how the selection of color in our yarn can influence the energy our knitted product carries with it. We will also talk of intention in knitting, and do some knitting meditation. There will be hand-dyed and painted yarns for sale for those who don’t want to dye yarn but want some beautiful colors to knit with. During this retreat you will have an opportunity for individual meditation and reflection, quiet walks, an individual session with Jinny, and some small group work that will be voluntary.
